The bosses I respected the most?

That made me want to show up even more.
Not because I feared them.
But because I didnโt want to let them down.

Iโve seen the โcold bossโ act.
The kind that hides behind closed doors and corporate buzzwords.
Sure, they got the job done but no one followed them out of loyalty. Just survival.
๐คฃGive me the boss who laughs at team lunches.
The one who rolls up their sleeves when weโre slammed.
The one who says, โHey, Iโve been there too.โ
Thatโs who Iโll go the extra mile for.

Letโs cut the nonsense.
This idea that you have to be a โstone-faced managerโ to be respected?
Thatโs yesterdayโs playbook – dinosaurian age.
Todayโs workforce?
They want real. They want human. They want you.
You donโt lose respect by being approachable.
You lose it by being inconsistent, dismissive, or hiding behind your title.

You can be kind and still hold people accountable.
You can laugh with your team and still run a tight ship.
You can connect deeply and still lead firmly.
Respect isnโt about being feared.
Itโs about being trusted.
๐๐ฌ๐ผ๐ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ฟ๐๐๐?
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด to be someone youโre not. ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด like emotions are a weakness.
๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ where people feel like they have ๐๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ผ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐.

โThatโs why they show up for me not just because they have to, but because they want to.โ
